Two Japanese carmakers announced today they have partnered to promote the future of hybrid vehicle by expanding the presence of hybrid drives to more vehicles. Simply put, Mazda will piggyback on the R&D made by Toyota and will begin implementing the latter’s hybrid technology into its vehicles.
According to Mazda, the hybrid system will be paired with its future line of SKY engines and will be packed into a new vehicle, whose sales are expected to begin in 2013.
