Lindsay Lohan is going back to rehab — one way or another.
Michael Lohan, who has publicly spoken about his daughter’s alleged prescription drug addiction in the past, has a bone to pick with his first-born. Michael — who recently suffered a heart attack — admits he’s seriously worried about Lindsay’s health after a month that has seen the once successful child star crying a river over an E-Trade commercial, falling into cactuses, and leaving the house with powdered feet. In fact, the elder Lohan is so concerned about Lindsay, he’s prepared to pull a Daddy Spears and have the star forcibly committed.
“I’ve tried every way possible to reach out to my daughter – talking, text, we’ve met. And, in difficult times, she reaches out to me. It happened last week when she fell into the cactus. She said, ‘I need security.’ I’m her father and I love her….I’m asking everyone out there to help her and if you’re an enabler (to Lindsay) get out of there. I want to meet with Lindsay’s lawyers and sit down with her privately to work something out, discuss the situation…If she refuses to do so I guess we will take out measures. I hope Lindsay is accommodating. We all know the truth….”
Michael will be in Los Angeles next week to stalk talk to Lindsay. (If the girl knows what’s good for her, she’ll be on the next thing smoking to London.)
