Florida: Governor signs bills prohibiting raids on Right-to-Carry fund

Lawmakers in search of spare change now are prevented from raiding a trust fund linked to the state’s concealed weapons permitting program.Gov. Charlie Crist has signed into law a bill (SB 1158) that prohibits lawmakers from tapping into the fund, which covers the cost of the concealed weapons permitting program. The measure was a top priority of the National Rifle Association.
