Actor John Forsythe has died.
The 92-year-old passed of complications from pneumonia in Santa Ynez, Calif. on Thursday, Entertainment Tonight reports.
“He was 92 years old and, thankfully, he died as he lived his life… with dignity and grace,” his family said in the statement.
Forsythe famously played “Charlie” — the voice behind the speakerbox on the ’70s small screen series Charlie’s Angels and the two feature films, Charlie’s Angels and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. The star also portrayed patriarch Blake Carrington on TV’s Dynasty. The latter role won Forsythe a pair of Golden Globes for Best Actor On A TV Drama in the 1980s.
The family request that those wishing to honor his memory make donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
