American Chopper has been saved from the Graveyard of TV Shows Past……TLC is reviving its veteran biker-themed franchise after pulling the plug on the show earlier this year.
The canceled series ran for six seasons — first on Discovery Channel, then on TLC — with its supposed final episode airing Feb. 11, b ut the network has made a deal for another round with the entire Teutul clan that fronts the series, set at motorcycle builder Orange County Choppers in Upstate New York, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The new show will play up the long-running feud between the Teutul men. American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, premiering in August, focuses both on the original Orange County Choppers business run by Paul Sr., and Paul Jr.’s startup bike shop, Paul Jr. Designs.
