Mentor’s Mechanical Analysis Division (MAD) announced the FloEFD technology (version 9.0) in October 2009, which provides Concurrent CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for rapid virtual prototyping required for fluid flow simulation. The Mentor Graphics FloEFD solution received the best product award for Design Tools – Rapid Prototyping, Materials, Tools and Services.
