FiberFête starts tonight – you can join online

I’m pretty sure my invitation was lost in the mail (I’m pretty sure yours was too!) – but the good news is that we can all participate online, which is even better for those of us in Ireland who are grounded due to volcanic ash. (That’s a whole new reason to appreciate broadband and remote meetings!!)

So what’s the FiberFête? Here’s the description from the web site…

FiberFête is an invitation-only conference to bring local leaders together with a wide variety of national and international Internet experts to discuss how communities like Lafayette can realize the greatest return on investment in their networks and explore how to drive economic development and enhance their community’s quality of life.

They have a whole host of great speakers you can check out on the web site. You can watch online as FiberFete will be streamed live from 4 to 6 PM CDT on Tuesday, April 20 and from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, April 21. Or you can follow the FiberFete Tweets or follow all related Tweets #fiberfete.
