Mustang and Camaro fans are among the most fiercely loyal in the auto industry, as necessitated by the closeness of the rivalry between their chosen cars. Throughout a long history of excellence (and sometimes mediocrity—nothing was really great for a while there in the ’70s and ’80s), both have had their ups and downs.
