Director Saam Farahmand, who has worked with the likes of Janet Jackson, These New Puritans, Hercules & Love Affair, and Cheryl Cole has created an ingenious new video for the xx’s track “Islands”. At first glance the video might seem repetitive, but every take depicts the subtle art of the breakup via the dancers movements, as the band sits by watching the drama unfold.
