Who doesn’t know the ‘Hustle and Flow’ star Terrence Howard and his girlfriend, Michelle Ghent-Howard, 33, a commercial production worker? The said affair had been public but the marriage did not get publicized not until this Monday. It was reported that the star “quietly wed” his girlfriend Michelle Ghent-Howard in a small ceremony almost four months ago, last January of 2010.
“To come here and be with my wife, it’s the best feeling in the world,” Howard uttered while promoting his forthcoming biopic “Winnie” where he is starring as Nelson Mandela. He let his marital status known to the public during an interview with Anderson Cooper at the Cannes Film Festival.
The truth about the recent marriage was that the 4 month old newlyweds exchanged vows at a very lovely and intimate wedding ceremony at Los Angeles. This happed after five years of post marriage break up with Lori Mccomma, his ex wife for thirteen years, bearing three kids namely Aubrey, Heaven and Hunter.
As to why it was kept secret temporarily, we don not know their reasons. But as of today, the couple is seen proud of being with each other as husband and wife.
