Mexico failed in its first big test and lost to England with a score of 3-1 at the Wembley Stadium in England. It was a friendly match which was used to measure the fitness of both teams for the soccer World Cup 2010, South Africa.
Despite the large lead on the scoreboard, England showed the same superiority in the game.
The meeting, held at Wembley Stadium in London, Mexico was the first dispute in Europe as part of the last phase of preparation for the World Cup where they will play the June 11 opening game against host of South Africa.
Meanwhile, for England was the last at home before his debut against the United States on 12 June.
