Business Development Manager

UK – Home based, Acre Resources

A leading provider of demand response energy efficiency solutions is looking for a talented business developer to establish and propel their business in the UK.

You will target commercial, institutional and industrial organisations to introduce the organisation and present the commercial benefits of this software in relation to intelligent energy use, energy savings, and ultimately cost savings.

Working either from the company’s UK HQ or from home your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing robust client relationships
• Generating and converting leads into profitable business
• Analysing energy & facilities data
• Proposing company’s service portfolio to solve customers’ energy management and business problems
• Preparing and presenting financial and sales proposals
• Contractual negotiation and closure
• Liaising with marketing

As part of this fast paced business, you will be expected to exceed your own and the company’s sales targets. You will use your sales experience and working knowledge of the energy industry to immediately establish a strong network of contacts and begin developing those into profitable business.
