Project Glass is exciting. Whether or not the idea of
connected eyewear with an integrated transparent display that falls into the wearer’s line of vision appeals to you, the simple fact that a giant like
Google is working on a project like this out in the open is intriguing. Project Glass is also going to be pricey, however.
CNET claims to have confirmed that the device will launch sometime this year for “less than $1,500.” We don’t know how much less at this point, but the simple fact that the $1,500 developer edition price-point is being cited by
CNET’s unnamed source suggests we’re likely looking at a hefty price tag.
