Rumors surrounding
Google’s (
GOOG) inevitable entry into the subscription-based streaming music space continue to swirl. Following a report claiming that
Google hopes to launch the new music services this year,
Billboard claims that the company has inked a deal with major music label Warner Music Group. The terms of the supposed detail remain a mystery, however the report mirrors earlier rumors that
Google will offer two separate music streaming services — one tied to YouTube and one tied to Google Play.
Billboard also states that the services will launch this coming summer.
