This compact product series supplements the KEBA KeDrive family in the 100 W – 3.5 kW performance segment. Two series are available for direct connection to the 100-230 V and 200-500 V mains supply. With its multi-encoder interface, the KeDrive D2 supports the most generally used types of encoder:
• EnDat 2.1 absolute encoders
• Hiperface absolute encoders
• MSM motor absolute encoders
• 1 Vss incremental signals
• 5 V TTL incremental signals
• Resolvers
Safety functions that meet the EN 13849-1 (Category 3) standard are integrated into the drive, thus ensuring minimum response times and making machinery faster and safer. In addition, external surveillance components are rendered superfluous. The KeDrive D2 communications interface has a multi-protocol capacity and permits operation with standard SERCOS III and EtherCAT real time Ethernet protocols. In addition, the drives offer digital I/Os, an analogue input and an intelligent operating unit with parameterization function on the front.
