Our first instinct was to think that Bloomberg has too much time on their hands, but on second thought it’s probably good marketing. Now you can track the fate of Tiger Woods’ sponsors via the Bloomberg Tiger Woods Sponsor Index (Bloomberg: TWSPON IND).
Barron’s: The nine companies in the index are Accenture (ACN), Berkshire Hathaway (BRKA), Electronic Arts (ERTS), LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (Milan: LVMH.MI), Nike (NKE), PepsiCo (PEP), and Procter & Gamble (PG).
Not a bad collection of companies, actually. But we’d rather someone created a derivative betting on what Tiger’s total mistress count will in the end be.
