Thyroids were on the low end of normal. The only things in the (H) side were fasting BS which was normal on arisal but by the time I waited in a room full of people for my turn it had risen to 168. Not unusual for me as I hadn’t eaten or had any basal insulin yet for the day. Hemoglobin a1c was 6.7 which was better than last time.
All hepatitis tests were negative….this testing due to my starting Humira, a biologic.
Now to the one I am concerned about and will see a nephrologist next Friday is my microalbumin which is 53.7 (H). Normal range being 0.-17.0.
The creatinine, serum is .94 Normal is 0.57-1.00 which looks like I am close to the upper range of normal.
Microal/Creatine ratio is 29.4 which is close to upper 0.0-30.0.
Does any one of you read into this kidney damage or kidney disease? I think I was told about a year ago that my kidneys were working at 60% but not to worry about it. I think I am worrying anyway and I don’t think I have seen these kind of numbers before.
I am 75, diabetic since ’88, on insulins Humalog and Levemir. I do hope the biologic Humira is not affecting anything as I am a severe psoriatic and psoriatic arthritis patient also taking Methotrexate.
Thanks for reading,
