Do I need to push for lower numbers?

My ave. fasting number for the last month is 87. I rarely get over 120 2 hrs after a meal. I run 1 1/2 miles per day (6 days /week). I have lost 65 lbs and have reached my weight goal. I was diagnosed with a fasting number of 325 and an A1c of 9.3. My 3 mo. check-up was 100 and 6.1.

I am locked in to my diet as a life style change and I am very comfortable with where I am. I know the above numbers are good for a diabetic, but should I push to get them lower.

I only take met 500 2x/day. Also cinnamon & chromium picolinate.
