The new High Capacity Spirals are in response to our customers need for taller units and to handle heavier loads. Both are factors which increase the total weight present in the spiral at any given time. The new spirals can start and stop fully loaded and handle double the total weight compared to our regular spirals.
Ryson Spiral conveyors need less floor space than conventional conveyors and are faster and more reliable than any elevator or lift.
The load capacity is 75 lbs. per linear foot of conveyor for speeds up to 200 FPM. The angle of incline is between 9 and 11 degrees which safeguards against loads sliding or tumbling during operation.
Only one drive motor is needed, equating to substantial savings in controls and systems integration. Most spirals are shipped in one piece, pre-assembled and pre-tested, thereby drastically reducing time and cost of installation.
All Ryson Spirals are of the chain slat type and incorporate a unique proprietary low friction design which facilitates high speed, low noise, smooth operation and long life.
