I had hoped today to write a poignant post reflecting on the past year or decade and adding some insights for the new ones. Instead, I spent the day entertaining my niece as the train had a two hour late departure and now I need to turn to the family New Year’s Eve celebration which involves rotini noodles and Lost. But I couldn’t leave this year behind without at least writing my one thousandth post on MotherReader – which is kind of cool – and without wishing you and yours a Happy New Year. Here’s to 2010!
