Meditation

Relax. Relax. Let your mind slip away….

As you know, I’m a mysterious creature of the supernatural, moving through the spiritual planes, like a fish through water. This in mind, I always feel I should use meditation as a means to expand my mental horizons and explore the depths and shallows of the human subconscious.

The only problem is I can never get it to work. I gave it another go earlier this evening but, no sooner had I started trying than, relaxed, my jaw dropped open and a bucketload of drool gushed out all over my chin.

Determined to keep my mouth shut, I tried again and promptly nodded off, fell sideways and banged my head on the headboard of the bed I was sitting on. Happily I wasn’t killed by this less than brutal collision but it prompted me to give up the attempt.

You, however, may have had a better experience with the practice. So, have you ever tried meditation and, if so, has it got you anywhere?
