Getting In Shape for 2010

Im trying to get in shape for 2010. nothing huge. Im not fat or heavy in any sense of the word but i feel like i could be in a bit better shape. Now anybody could go online and find good ways to get into shape. but diabetes kinda complicates things… the working out isn’t the problem but the exercise and blood sugar aspect of it is a little intimidating. is there a good way to lose some flab and gain some muscle without constant lows and constant eating of foods that are not beneficial to gaining some muscle? any ideas or comments?
