Nicollette Sheridan Hospitalized After Falling Off Horse

Rumor: Former Desperate Housewives siren Nicollette Sheridan was rushed to a California hospital after a horsebacking riding accident left her with a head injury.

Celebrity informants tell The National Enquirer’s Mike Waker that the blonde sought emergency medical treatment for a head wound after she was “bucked off” her horse while riding without a helmet last month.

“Nicolette galloped bareback near her San Fernando Valley estate in pouring rain – and suddenly got bucked off by her not-so-gallant steed, slamming head-first into the top rail of a fence,” says a tipster. “Instantly knocked silly because she wasn’t wearing a riding helmet… and barely able to move as she lay in thick mud about 100 feet from her stable.”

The 46-year-old Sheridan was soon found by her boyfriend, businessman Steve Pate, who rushed her to the ER after noticing that the actress was bleeding heavily from a gash on her head, the spy adds.

“After tests for possible internal injuries, docs stapled up the gash and sent Nicolette home.”
