On a recent trip in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, I noticed that many of the localities in the Lismore City Council area have welcome signs and an accompanying slogan. For instance:
Modanville – Home of the Birdwing Butterfly
The Channon – Home of the Craft Market
and this gem from left field:
Goolmangar – Where the Cows Come First
WTF. Anyways, it got me thinking, I’d like to see:
Nimbin – Smoke a Joint then Trash It
