hisaver 300x168 CES 2010: HiSaver Energy Saving Surge Protector with Exclusive Motion SensorWellbas Limited is yet another company trying to help us color our lives by staying green. They are showing off their HiSaver Energy Saving Surge Protector at CES today, which could “save up to 70% electricity power consumption”. This green (actually black) surge protector links to a wireless motion sensor with artificial intelligence. When HiSaver concludes nobody is in the room and electronics are not being used it will power down your appliances.  Electronics will power back up when motion is redetected by the sensor. Your PC will connect to the “master socket,” which will not power down automatically. When you switch your computer off HiSaver will put all devices into the cost-saving zero power (0.2W). There are four “slave energy saving outlets” and one “always on” outlet. HiSaver retails for $99 and comes with a one-year guarantee. **Note: A tree does not actually grow out of one of the outlets, as depicted in the image.hisaver2 300x168 CES 2010: HiSaver Energy Saving Surge Protector with Exclusive Motion Sensor
