waking dreams

not strictly speaking a new thread. I’m not diabetic though have been tested and continue to be checked for glucose intolerance. I have recently been to the doctor re my second episode of ‘waking dreams’. My dr doesn’t really have an answer but i am having my cholestrol rechecked as my mother died young from circulation problems. My health is excellent for my age (58) the reason I am posting is cos I googled ‘waking dreams low blood sugar’ and came to some good posts on this site which reassured my a little as they are well scarey! My episodes took place under exactly the same conditions. the night before I drank more than usual, had little or no breakfast and then played a tough game of squash. In the early afternoon I started to feel quite odd and started to have episodes where I thought I had just done something or had a long converstation which hadn’t happened. These episodes where of quite normal stuff, but it was quite difficult to stop them happening without someone with me talking and keeping my attention. the first episode was 18 months ago, the second just a few weeks ago. the second time was less scarey as it was familiar and I drank lots of juice and ate sweet snacks which may or may not have helped. My doctor is really none the wiser and I would really appreciate anyone who has shared this experience posting as I’m hoping its a blood sugar ‘thing’ !!!
