Dear old, dirty auld Dublin…

Just bumped an old photo thread I had, so decided I may as well get more exposure by posting them here in the UK and Ireland section too.

I live in Dublin’s burbs, and for me the city centre is very much an uncared for, car-ridden and gritty place I rarely visit. The lack of care, appreciation and vision shown to the city really is disconcerting for any history or architecture enthusiasts. However, behind the traffic, grit and horrible shop fronts lay some hidden delights worth taking shots of.

All my pictures have been taken on my mobile phone, and I’m pure amateur! I’ll start off with a few pictures of Dublin Castle.
