Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend but I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this development?
The information I have managed to gather is as follows:
– The site is earmarked for retail/leisure, residential, health club, possible car showroom and office space.
– The first phase of the development includes 5000m2 of office space, 50 residential units, a 3000m2 health club and 60m2 of retail.
– The first phase is being developed by Aurora Property Developments and it is intended that the rest of the site is developed by another developer in the future. The council have indicated that a masterplan must be produced for the whole site to show phasing arrangements in order to judge a planning application.
– The site in total is approx 5 hectares (knocking on the size of the Vaux site)
