Despite her inability to make a splash during last week’s debut as a guest judge, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is all set to return to American Idol as a series stylist, according to reports out of the UK.
Exiting Idol judge Simon Cowell is reportedly eager to sign the singer-turned-fashion designer as a full time judge when he takes his popular The X Factor show stateside next year, but VB would rather stick with her former boss Simon Fuller – Idol’s creator and ex-manager of the Spice Girl – by agreeing to contribute to the popular TV talent show through her love of fashion.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Victoria’s spectacular eye for fashion. She’s giving the offer serious thought,” a tattle told The Daily Mail on Monday.
Word is Victoria has been offered more than $120,000 per episode to select the outfits and hairstyles wore by each of this season’s aspiring Idols.
