When former Chicago Bears QB Rex Grossman signed with the Houston Texans in 2009, after playing six seasons with the Bears, he had two Chicago-area houses to deal with: one, a 36th-floor condo in Chicago’s Trump International Hotel & Tower and a Lake Forest home at 115 S Newport Ct, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
Well, it looks like Grossman’s Chicago condo was sold — for a loss — but Grossman’s Lake Forest home is still for sale for $849,000. Grossman purchased the condo in 2008 for $2.681 million and he reportedly sold it this week for $2 million.
Grossman’s Lake Forest home originally hit the market last June for $899,000 and since then has been reduced by $50,000.
