Pepco, a subsidiary of Pepco Holdings, Inc., a company which provides electric service to 767,000 residential and commercial customers in Washington, D.C., and Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in Maryland, just energized its first charging station for electric vehicles. The company also decided to purchase 10 Chevrolet Volt which will be used for studying the effects of vehicle recharging.
