Which amp for Kicker L5,2 choices Rockford Fosgate PRIME R500-1 or Kicker ZX 500.1

I need to choose between these two amps to power a single kicker L5.the RF seems to be on sale on sonicelectronix,which of the two would be better the Rf seems to need only 8 awg power cable vs the kicker needing 4 awg.can i save on power cable using the Rf

i am still buying parts of my ice slowly over the year
