Automotive manufacturer Ricardo, together with Growth Energy, a green energy lobbyist, will display during the Washington Auto Show the highly optimized engine fueled on ethanol called EBDI. Following the display, Ricardo plans to build two demonstrator vehicles who will use the EBDI engine.
According to its manufacturer, the engine is developed from a production V6 gasoline engine and will be converted to power two GMC Sierra 3500 HD pickup trucks.
