Susan Boyle’s brother fears the singing star will be assassinated like pop icon John Lennon. John Boyle is worried the talent show star, who became an international music sensation, will be murdered by an obsessed fan — just like the Beatles star was — after Susan arrived at her home in Scotland on Tuesday evening and found an intruder standing at the top of her staircase.

The singer had just arrived home after a day in the recording studio, laying down vocals for Simon Cowell’s charity single to aid the victims of the recent earthquakes in Haiti.
“Susan is unharmed but is obviously very, very shocked. The guy has seen her come in and bolted out straight past Susan,” a friend told The Sun.
It was the second security incident for Susan in recent weeks — two strangers were caught peering through her back window one week before Christmas. The entire ordeal has SuBo’s big bro, John, pretty shaken.
“I am very upset about the lack of security. The family have told them several times that vast improvements need to be made to avoid something like this happening,” the rattled sib, 54, stammered in an interview with The Sun on Thursday.
“This is the second time something has happened to Susan at her home and it is extremely worrying. Susan is a massive world star and needs better protection. You look at what happened to John Lennon in New York – it’s really worrying.”
The former Beatle was shot to death outside his Manhattan apartment building by crazed stalker Mark Chapman in 1980. Chapman, now 54, remains incarcerated in a New York State Prison.
