Sure, Apple and President Obama may have stolen the headlines for the day, but that doesn’t mean there was nothing important happening in the world of webOS today. In fact there was important stuff, including but not limited to the lack of an iPhone coming to Verizon. Truly, the important stuff is that which will help to sustain the platform through the coming years, and that important stuff is going to be apps. Thankfully, Palm and the growing legions of webOS developers are bringing the apps in full force, with several exciting apps landing recently – including a handful of new 3D games (does it show that we’re still excited about the PDK?).
