Yet another witness at a pretrial hearing for ex-police officer Drew Peterson says she contacted authorities to say Peterson might have killed his third wife.
But she claims they never responded.
Kathleen Savio’s body was found in her bathtub in 2004.
When Peterson’s fourth wife, Stacy, disappeared in 2007, Savio’s body was exhumed and her death ruled a homicide.
Kristin Anderson lived in Savio’s basement in 2003 while her house was being built.
She told Wednesday’s hearing that Savio described Peterson — dressed all in black — once putting a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her. Earlier witnesses described the same alleged attack.
After Savio’s death, Anderson called investigators. But she says they never came to interview her or called her back.
Peterson has pleaded not guilty in Savio’s death.
