A new poll on November’s U.S. Senate race spells trouble for Democrat Alexi Giannoulias.
The Rasmussen poll first released to Fox Chicago News shows Republican Mark Kirk ahead of Giannoulias, 46-to-40 percent.
The poll also shows that more people say they have either a somewhat or very unfavorable opinion of Giannoulias.
In the poll, 39-percent say they have an unfavorable opinion of Giannoulias, compared to 33-percent for Kirk.
