In January Orwak launched model 3605, which is the most recent addition to its baler assortment! Model 3506 is a new player in the high end of the capacity range. Only about a year ago, Orwak introduced its largest and strongest baler Orwak 3610. Now these two models are teaming up to take on the most challenging assignments presented by the customers in the industry, supermarket and warehouse & logistic center segments. Both balers have a press force of 50 ton and the same generous loading aperture! They are developped to efficiently take care of large volumes of packaging material. Cardboard boxes and wrappings are reduced by up to 10:1, as they are firmly compacted into high density bales.
Two logistic concepts – a matter of priority
Why is Orwak then introducing a new baler, which is so similar to model 3610? Orwak’s machines are exported worldwide and the logistic systems out there are diverse. The customers also have different priorities and expectations on what a high capacity baler should offer. To meet these challenges, Orwak has introduced two options.
If the goal is to attain a commercial bale that weighs more than 500 kg, Orwak 3610 is the right choice. 3610 is large and takes some space, but it generates a bale that weighs up to 550 kg!
Orwak 3605 offers optimal transport logistics on geographical markets, where the bale dimensions 800 x 1200 mm are required as standard for a maximum pay load per truck. The baler is a bit smaller and produces lighter bales that weigh up to 450 kg. There is overall a much broader application area with both 3605 and 3610 on the team! A material selector makes the choice between cardboard and soft plastic easy.
For convenient and efficient waste handling, both Orwak 3605 and 3610 are equipped with autostart and a sliding door that opens automatically after each cycle.
