Yesterday, during lulls in Puppy Bowl VI I caught some of the pre-Super Bowl festivities on CBS. And for the second straight straight year President Obama was interviewed by a television anchor, this time Katie Couric.
And, oh, how Katie managed to concern troll like a true Villager — via the same source used so long and reliably by Tom Friedman (paraphrase, but close):
Mr. President, I just talked to a cab driver who says he’s scared to death of the Deficit
Amazing how many cab drivers end up sounding like David Broder.
