FOX RIVER GROVE –- Fox River Grove Police are investigating the death of a 52-year-old woman found this morning, apparently killed by blunt trauma.
The name of the victim, who was found in the 100 block of Gladys Avenue about 8:12 a.m., has not been released pending family notification.
The investigation is ongoing with assistance from the McHenry County Major Investigation Assistance Team, as well as the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office. Police are expected to release additional information after 5 p.m. today.
