Brady wants to ban same-sex marriages

The front runner for the republican nomination for governor, State Senator Bill Brady, wants to change the state constitution to ban same-sex marriages and same-sex unions.

At the same time, he wants to make it harder to pass state tax increases.

“I’m trying to give the government back to the people,” Brady said.

It’s still undecided if Brady or State Senator Kirk Dillard will represent Republicans in the general election.

Dillard is disputing the results from the Feb. 5 primary, and absentee ballots have not been counted yet.
