There is no reason for Australian Toyota Corolla owners to worry about their car’s power steering system, according to Toyota Australia. The Australian version of the Corolla will not be included in Toyota’s widening global recall.
"Toyota Motor Corporation has advised that the electric power-steering system used in Corolla models sold in Australia is different from that used for models sold in the United States," Toyota spokesman Mike Breen told GoAuto.
