Racing is dangerous and exposes the rider to the risk of injury, and Jorge Lorenzo find that out on his own again yesterday. The 22-year-old Spaniard fractured his right hand in an accident while training in Barcelona and was immediately taken to hospital for treatment.
Lorenzo underwent surgery to fix the problem and had a titanium plate fitted in his hand to do so. Today, the Fiat Yamaha Team rider left the hospital in the morning and returned to his home in Barcelona to recuperate.
