The Big Apple’s premier fashion event of the season opened with The Red Dress Collection fashion show, in which famous ladies don designer creations to help raise awareness about heart disease. Once spearheaded by former First Lady Laura Bush, the Heart Truth Red Dress campaign raises awareness about heart disease in women. The show has become an annual tradition during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the Bryant Park tents.
