Coming in somewhere between science and art, the Future Mobile Device is an intriguing design concept for next generation MP3 players. Designed by Mac Funamizu the device is a transparent strip worn around the wrist that doubles as a watch.

The Future Mobile Device is just a drawing at this point, but here’s to hoping some daring electronics manufacturer will make it real. Hey Apple – instead wasting everyone’s time with the iPad, create one of these gizmos.
