After three years and two babies, Nicole Richie and her rock star boyfriend Joel Madden are finally ready to take the plunge. The socialite-turned-designer spilled the beans on their engagement during a taping of the Late Show with David Letterman that will air this Friday.
And now that Joel and Nicole are making their love official, the bride’s famous dad can’t wait to escort her down the aisle.
“My happiness for Nicole and Joel knows no boundaries,” 60-year-old R&B legend Lionel Richie said Tuesday. “They have given me two beautiful grandchildren, Harlow and Sparrow, and have proven to be great parents. I am not sure who is luckier, Nicole and Joel to have each other, or me, to have both of them in my life. I cannot wait to give away the bride!”
