Following the Pack 201 launched in 2006, Bosch Packaging Technology launches the new Pack 201 FV. The medium-speed horizontal flow wrapper is designed for gentle packaging of delicate products like vegetable and fruits. Bosch has upgraded the Pack 201 FV with a carrier chain which ensures gentle
product feeding and minimizes additional heat through friction during product transport. This prevents product damage and reduces waste. Gas flushing of packages before filling and sealing is available to maintain produce freshness and reduce contamination risks, leading to extended shelf life.
Transport belts carry difficult- to- handle products through the folding box into the film tube. The transport belts assure the gentle handling of products and a smooth operation, with no risk of failure. Photoelectric sensors integrated in the tube tunnel enable No Gap – No Seal safety functionality. This function
guarantees that the gap between the different products while sealing is big enough for the sealing jaw to avoid damage of either the product or the machine. This results in reduced product spoilage and cleaning efforts, and minimizes production stoppages for increased efficiency.
During the transportation of the product through the fin seal section, small support rollers on the deck plates reduce tensile load on the film, which avoids film rupture for heavy products. This enables manufacturers to save material costs by using thinner, more cost-effective packaging material.
Simple format changes for packaging various sized products through the stepless adjustable folding box infeed allow for maximum machine efficiency. The HMI (Human Machine Interface) ensures easy operation and handling of
the machine.
Because some fruits and vegetables have acidic properties that can erode machinery contact parts, Bosch offers the Pack 201 FV in a full stainless steel execution, extending the machine life-cycle and enhancing operation efficiency.
