Tiger Woods will invade our TV screens in about two hours (They’d better not cut into People’s Court for this shit….), and according to a statement issued by PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem, Woods will head back to sex rehab after making his first public appearance following a serial infidelity scandal that threatened his family and career. The scandal-scarred golfer has been on hiatus from the Gentle Path Rehab Center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he has been receiving treatment for sex addiction for more than two months.
Finchem wrote in part: “As we understand it, Tiger’s therapy called for a week’s break at this time during which he has spent a few days with his children and then will make his statement before returning. Accordingly, there was very little flexibility in the date for the announcement.”
Woods is expected to apologize for his sexual shenanigans with at least 12 mistresses over the course of his nearly 6 year marriage to former Swedish model Elin Nordegren. The golfer will speak during Day 3 of a golf tournament sponsored by Accenture, the first company to drop Woods.
