Is Whitney Houston’s comeback a complete disaster?
If you ask fans in Brisbane, Australia, they will tell you, YES!
Whitney gave a less than optimal performance while in Brisbane Monday night. She reportedly could not hit the high notes, forgot the words to songs, forgot the names of her band members, and had to stop mid-song to wipe down her sweat and catch her breath.
Houston fans came out of the venue less than impressed, some even described the concert as absolutely dreadful. One fan said, “It was the worst concert I have ever been to,” and another, “She couldn’t entertain a dead rat!” Some fans even left before the show was over.
Methinks Whitney has yet to conquer her addictions. She just doesn’t look healthy, nor does she sound it. A shame, really. Makes me wonder if Clive Davis and company threw her out in the public eye before she was actually ready. The stress of going on tour and such can be a hell of a battle for someone who is an addict.
Sadly, this may mark the end of her new beginning. I’m sure no one will get her help until the tour is over though. However, it seems clear to me that she could use it NOW.
