GM Chevy Volt Battery Executive Leaves Company

Denise Gray, the head of the General Motors Chevy Volt battery development team, is resigning and will join an unidentified start-up battery company based in California.

The executive will leave GM on March 5, after being a part of the small purpose-created team for over three years. GM’s director of global battery systems engineering, Ronn Jamieson, will take Gray’s responsibilities until a permanent replacement will be found.
